Double Girder EOT Crane

Feature:

Main Girders:
- Manufactured from IS-2062 plates in form of box section adequately stiffened with the form of a box section, adequately stiffened with diaphragms to take care of the bending and torsional loadings during the operation of the crane with adequate factor of safely in compliance to IS-3177/807.
End Carriages :
- Developed from rolled channel sections adequately stiffened with diaphragms and bearing plates to receive the main girders.
- Provided with suitable buffer, scraper plate and jacking pads for easy removed of LT wheels during the maintenance operation.
Hoisting Machinery:
- The hosting machinery shall comprise of crane duty induction motor.
- Rotary geared limit switch is coupled with the rope drum shaft to monitor maximum and minimum levels of the crane hook.
Crab Frame:
- Manufactured from rolled steel section adequately stiffened to withstand the impact loads and structural forces during the lifting and traverse of the load.
- Provided with buffers and sweeper plates as essential feature while in operation.
Cross Travel Machinery:
- Consist of centrally located crane duty induction motor coupled to the input shaft of the vertical gear box by means of flexible brake drum coupling.
- Coupled to the CT wheels by means of flexible geared coupling is mounted on the floating shafts.
Long Travel Machinery:
- Driven either through a centrally located crane duty induction motor coupled to LT wheels through totally enclosed oil lubricated helical gear box or through totally enclosed oil lubricated helical box or through a twin drive arrangement driving a sets of wheels at two ends.
Gear Boxes:
- Developed out of tested plates and stress relieved all gear boxes that are totally enclosed and oil lubricated in an enclosed.
- Made from C-55 Mn 75 alloy steel and is computed as per IS 4460.
Platform:
- Full checkered platform shall be provided on the drive side of the girder throughout the span of the crane.

Single Girder EOT Crane

Constructional Feature:

Main Girder :
- Manufactured from IS 2062 quality plates in the form of a box section designed to avoid any lateral bending and buckling or during lowering of the load.
- Stiffened with diaphragms to take care of the bending and tensional loading during the operation crane.
- Designed with adequate factor of safety in compliance to IS 3177/807.
End Carriages :
- Provided with suitable buffers, scraper plates and jacking pads for easy removal of LT wheels during the maintenance operation
Hoisting & Cross Travel Machinery :
- Provided for controlling the top and the bottom position of the hook.
- Ensure the prevention of overlapping the wire rope apart from the required tension.
- Complete with a motor driven trolley along with the mechanical disc brake, conical in construction.
Long Travel Machinery :
- Manufactured out of tested plates and shall be stress relieved.
- Internal gears and pinions are manufactured from alloy steel as per IS 4460 housed in totally enclosed oil lubricated housed in totally enclosed oil lubricated housing.
- The gear boxes shall be horizontal foot mounted type and are supported in anti friction bearing for mounted type.
